Sen. John B. Breaux Professor of Law, Tulane University Law School, New Orleans, LA, and Permanent Visiting Professor, University of Buea, Buea, SW Province, Cameroon, earned her A.B. (magna cum laude) from Wellesley College, J.D. (Stone Scholar) from Columbia University, and LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. Formerly a partner in the international law firm of Coudert Brothers, she specialized in international commercial and corporate transactions. Her scholarship has applied socioeconomic principles to business related areas of law, with a particular focus on standards of performance in both the domestic and international realms. Most recently, she has been studying the OHADA system of business laws, uniform over 16 countries in West and Central Africa.
